Build Inner Safety
and Discover your Unique Power
with Trauma-Informed Breathwork
How many times have you checked a text message in the middle of a yoga flow, or a workout, or a meditation session?
We live lives that pull our minds away from our bodies. Our ever increasing proximity to technology and work makes it nearly impossible to stay connected to our physical vessels.
We’ve become floating heads, living inside screens, with bodies left behind in a 3D world.
This body-abandonment has made us anxious, future-obsessed, and scattered. We’ve lost our ability to be, to truly soak up the miracle of the present moment – where our peace lives.
And it’s not our fault. Our world doesn’t reward presence, it rewards constant plotting, constant effort, constant thinking ahead. Our society is constantly coaxing you into the future, luring you with the bait of ‘what if.’
But the reality is, your life is here, right now, in this moment. No matter how much you plot and plan, nothing is guaranteed. True freedom is realizing that at a certain point, the only thing you gain from abandoning the present, is an illusion of security.
And when you allow yourself to truly exist in this moment, that’s when you start living.
Breathwork is one of the most powerful ways I’ve learned to come back into my body, and into the present.
Your breath is the medicine that’s always been yours.
Breathwork doesn’t sit you down on a mat and yell “be present!” until it’s blue in the face. It gently leads your body through the process of releasing the emotions that have stolen you away from the here and now so that you cultivate the sense of physical safety you need to take note of the ground you're standing on.
You can’t force presence when your mind is skilled in racing and your body is offline. You have to help your mind hold hands with your body again so they can work together to release what’s fueling your emotional and physical pain.
And as that pain is released, you begin to trust your Self to handle what’s ahead while growing a sense of presence. You begin to register the smells, sights, sounds, and sensations of the moment you’re in, and with your breath you find peace right here where you are.
Breathwork widens your capacity to meet the moment for what it is with more resilience – and that is a superpower.
And the best part? Your breath is with you wherever you go, so when you cultivate a relationship with your breath, you harness the ability to create peace wherever you are, no matter the circumstance. Everything you need is within you.
Together, let’s help you unlock this powerful medicine that’s always been yours.
Hi! I’m Brianna.
I discovered breathwork in 2021 during a time in my life when I was finally ready to heal my own cycles of suffering. I had been struggling with depression, substance abuse, and feelings of hopelessness for most of my life and was realizing how much of my mental health struggles stemmed from a childhood where, for most of the time, I didn’t feel safe to express who I was. I had to be hyper-vigilant around others and suppress my emotions to stay safe.
Breathwork was such a transformative tool for me because, for the first time in my life, I felt like I could quiet my mind and physically feel a sense of release and peace from the depression that had consumed me for most of my life.
It’s tempting to intellectualize our experiences to feel like we’ve processed them, but the truth is, it’s our physical bodies that actually hold our emotions. Breathwork is what finally allowed my trapped feelings to surface and leave my body so that I had the capacity to face my triggers and frustrations with more self-compassion and love. I could finally forgive my caretaker for not having the capacity to give me the emotional safety and support I needed as a child and tap into my unique power that had been suppressed for all those years.
Meet your Breathwork Facilitator
Breathwork has since become my most powerful tool for moving through my life’s challenges with more resilience, and for widening my capacity to receive the joy and love life wants to give us.
I envision a world where we all come back home to ourselves. Where our unshakeable inner-safety frees us to step into our full power and live our dream lives. Where we stop playing small, and feel confident taking up space knowing that by doing so, we don’t dim anyone else’s light, but actually give others permission to shine just as bright. I envision a world where we’re all tapped into the deep inner wisdom of our bodies, and where all of us know how to regulate our nervous systems. I envision a world where all of us have the courage to embody the human experience in its full spectrum of emotion, welcoming all feelings through every high and low.
By guiding you through your breathwork journey, I see myself helping bring this world into being.
You have so much more power within you than you realize. No matter what you’re going through, I truly believe that immense joy and peace is waiting for you on the other side of your decision to finally put your healing first.
I can’t wait to help you tap into your medicine.

George
Bri effectively covered everything someone should be aware of with breathwork and clearly communicated that it was a safe space for anything that may come up. She also did a really great job guiding my breath through the session while also creating a space for my own intuitive flow. During the breathwork, I was feeling a heightened sense of connection to my past self and where I came from, as well as a connection to who I am now, and who I can become. It was powerful to tap into all versions of myself and send each of them compassion. I also felt a release of the energetic baggage that I carry around on a moment to moment basis. The breathwork fueled a surrender to the moment and a more natural way of being. After my session, I felt alive and at ease in my body. Brianna helped remind me that I have everything I need circulating within me.

Our session was super grounding, Brianna was a gentle presence — her voice carried us so easefully through the whole session. We had just enough direction to feel guided without feeling distracted from the present moment. She gave us several options and reminded us of our own autonomy throughout the session. I felt like I could truly turn off my thinking brain and lean into the experience fully, trusting that she was right there holding our hand with each progression in the exercises!

What happens in a breathwork session?
1
Our breathwork sessions begin with a check-in to help us first understand where you’re at mentally, energetically, and spiritually. This ensures I’m able to curate a session that best supports your needs on any given day. Once we’ve checked in, I’ll ask you to lie down on a flat surface and begin breathing. Our session will include three-part breath, breath holds, and a meditation to help you return to a calm state at the end. A typical breathwork session will allow you to access the root of your patterns, complete incomplete stress cycles, develop a deeper relationship with Self, heal trauma gently, and reclaim presence and vitality. At the end, I’ll offer optional space for reflection. I recommend you carve out some quiet time after our session to reflect, drink lots of water, and gently integrate what arose during our session.
I have trauma that can sometimes get triggered in spaces like this. How will you support me if this happens in one of our sessions?
2
As a trauma-informed facilitator, I will never push someone beyond their limitations. Before our first session, you will fill out my intake form. At the start of our session, we’ll have a check-in so I know how you’re feeling and which type of breathing technique will be most supportive for you. If you feel triggered during our session, I will have you pause your three-part breath and help you bring your body back to a state of calm by using specific trauma-informed cues to help you regulate. You are in complete control during our sessions, and if you need to stop at any point, you are welcome to.
I’m scared that breathwork will feel physically uncomfortable. What should I expect?
3
Tetany, temperature shifts, and emotions may arise during a breathwork session. Tetany refers to involuntary muscle contractions that often show up in the hands, feet, or around the mouth when the body’s pH moves out of its neutral range. It can also happen if there is a deficiency in minerals like calcium or magnesium, as altered calcium levels in motor nerves increase electrical activity in the neurons.
There is no need to worry about this phenomenon; it’s simply the body’s natural response to internal shifts, and your body will automatically work to bring itself back into balance (homeostasis). If the tetany becomes too uncomfortable, you can simply slow down the breath.
Temperature shifts during breathwork are very common. They happen because your body is working to maintain balance (homeostasis). Body temperature regulation is an automatic reflex controlled by the hypothalamus in the brain. During breathwork, you intentionally shift your breathing from its normal automatic pattern. As you engage your respiratory muscles and move energy through the body, heat is generated that needs to be released. These fluctuations are simply your body adjusting and working to bring you back to your natural core temperature.
Is breathwork backed by science?
4
Yes! Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to adapt, rewire, and change based on experiences and learning. Research has shown that breathwork stimulates neuroplasticity in the brain, supporting healing and growth.
Scientists can measure changes in the brain using methods such as:
Structural changes: Shifts in the volume of gray matter brain tissue after an experience or intervention (measured by MRI).
Functional changes: Changes in the way different regions of the brain communicate (measured by fMRI or EEG).
Chemical changes: Alterations in neurotransmitter levels and other brain chemicals that influence mood and physiology (measured by MRS).
Neuronal pathway changes: Changes in the pathways or patterns of communication between neurons and brain regions (measured by fMRI, EEG, or DTI).
I already do talk therapy. Is breathwork still helpful?
5
Yes, talk therapy in conjunction with breathwork is a powerful combination! Talk therapy is a great tool and somatic work will help you feel and release emotions that have been stored in your body, allowing for true transformation to occur.
What is your cancellation policy?
6
Sessions must be cancelled with a minimum 48-hour notice for your deposit to be credited toward a future session. Cancellations made without a minimum of 48 hours’ notice will not qualify for a refund or a credit toward future sessions.
